ABOUT US
The dogues and their caretakers (Lynn & Andre) reside on a 5 acre plus mini-farm. The dogues thoroughly enjoy the acreage, especially their daily "Woods Walks".
We've owned dogs all of our lives; Lynn has been professionally associated with them for the past two decades. She has owned, bred and worked Rottweilers for over 20 years, and
Dogues for the last 8 years. She is a professional trainer and evaluator, specializing in the retraining of not so pleasant dogs, and has attended various dog handling and training seminars. I have been associated with animals since 1975, working for the U.S.D.A. as an Animal Health Technician, Vet Technician and Exotic Animal Specialist.
I spent a major portion of my career enforcing the Animal Welfare Act, and dealing with animal abuse cases. I have proudly assisted in shutting down various puppy mills.
We Groom, Board, Train and Show dogs, both in conformation and obedience rings.
We owned and trained the first Therapy Certified Akita and have had the only working Therapy Certified Akita brace. We have been doing therapy work with TDInc (Therapy
Dogs Incorporated) since April of 1995. We have had our dogs work Veterans Hospitals, Childrens Hospitals, Nursing homes, Schools and some private Group Homes.
Of all of our dogs, 2 are double Certified Therapy Dogs, one is a Security Dog, Two are Certified
Weight Pull Dogs and the rest are exceptional Show Dogs. All of our dogs are family, in which, most of them work for a living.
We are members in good standing in the Dogue de Bordeaux Society of America, North American
Kennel Club, The FCI, The AKC, The UKC and the New England Pullers Association . We're very active in the dog show world, attending Conformation shows and Weight Pull events almost every weekend
in the spring and summer.
